Secure software has to meet functional and non-functional requirements according to economic requirements. Approaches for the development of secure software should be practicable, effective, and focussed on the relevant security requirements. The CAST seminar „Sichere Software entwickeln“ focusses on technical, conceptual, and organizational approaches for the design, implementation, and testing of secure software. Six presentations show differences between secure and certified software, components of a secure software development cycle, required knowledge for software developers, integration of design, analyzing and testing schemes in software development, and the impact of software architecture on security.
